As Chief Executive Officer, Howard Preissman leads the executive team at Keller Medical, Inc. Jointly with Dr. Kevin Keller, he formed Keller Medical, Inc. after evaluating the feasibility of the business opportunity through an in-depth study of business risks, technology challenges, and clinical efficacy. Mr. Preissman raised investment capital to launch the business and spearheaded efforts to design, develop and commercialize the Keller Funnelâ„¢ and to secure the Company's intellectual property.
 
Preissman developed a strong cross-disciplinary understanding of the medical device industry through eighteen years of experience in the technical, marketing, financial, and executive management roles of product commercialization.
 
Prior to founding Keller Medical, Inc, Preissman was the founder of Parallax Medical, Inc. where he conceived the business opportunity after meeting with key physician pioneers experimenting with techniques and procedures for performing vertebroplasty, a procedure to alleviate pain resulting from osteoporotic-induced compression fractures of the vertebrae. Through his decisive leadership, he built the business to profitability and maximized its value prior to selling the company for $28 million in 2004.
 
Mr. Preissman has a technical background in mechanical and biomedical engineering with a post-graduate degree from the University of Miami. He is an inventor on seventeen patents pertaining directly to the products he developed. Throughout his career, he gained valuable skills and experience as an integral member of several successful medical start-up companies, working and managing research and development activities. Mr. Preissman has hands-on experience in leading product development teams with manufacturing, marketing, regulatory, quality, and sales responsibilities.
 
Howard and his wife, Karla, currently reside in Stuart, Florida, with their two children.
