Emory University Study Reveals Silicone Breast Implant Device Significantly Reduces Contamination
Today, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal published an article by Emory University researchers on an FDA Class 1 device used in the delivery of silicone gel implants. Keller Funnel Silicone Breast Implant Delivery Device Receives CE Mark
Keller Medical has received CE approval for the Keller Funnel gel implant delivery device. The decidedly low-tech device looks like bag for applying frosting to cakes.
It has previously received FDA and Canadian approval and allows the surgeon to insert breast or gluteal implants through a tiny incision. The nylon device has a hydrophilic coating enabling a low friction insertion.
